Blacktree offers a range of signal management products which have been developed to support customer requirements in a variety of challenging environments.
GPS-01 - The Blacktree Global Positioning System (GPS) Signal Distribution Panel that provides a 6-way Splitter and DC injector capability designed for operation across the GPS operating frequency band. The integral DC injector provides power for the active GPS antenna. The GPS-01 is a 1RU unit, designed to be mounted into server racks or cabinets. DC Blocks within the design provide isolation for GPS receiver-based DC injector outputs.
GPS-02 is a Pulse Per Second (PPS) Signal Distribution Panel that provides PPS signal distribution and amplification capability. The GPS-02 takes a PPS signal from a master clock and provides 8 x 50 Ohm output along with 2 x RS232 level outputs for interfacing into server systems. The GPS-02 is a 1RU unit, designed to be mounted into server racks or cabinets.
Control Station Combiner (CSC-01) is a broadband combiner which is used to manage interference and the antennas required on a communications site by enabling up to 4 radios to concurrently use one antenna. The CSC provides a high level of isolation between Tx/Rx ports, radio-to-radio isolation is maintained irrespective of antenna isolation characteristics. Also, radios operating on various bands, in either Tx or Rx mode, can be combined without risk of interference. The CSC-01 is a 1RU unit, designed to be mounted into server racks or cabinets.
Cross Band Coupler enables a single transmitter port from the radio to be simultaneously connected to both VHF and UHF dedicated antennas. The use of band specific antenna’s enables the use of band specific antenna’s which can greatly improve performance when compared to an equivalent wideband antenna.
Transceiver Adaptor is a passive device designed to enable single port transceivers to be split into separate RF Transmit (Tx) and RF Receive (Rx) paths enabling single port terminals to operate in a full duplex RF system. The TXA is available in single and dual transceiver configuration.
RF Radiation Hazard Switch facilitates the control of emissions from each installed UHF SATCOM antenna and individual transmitter sources. The Blacktree Radiation Hazard Switch provides customer selectable configuration augmenting the three basic functions, which consist of; Switching from transmit to isolation for each transmit source, Test and simulation capability utilising a dummy load, RF Signal Monitoring.
