Signal Management

Blacktree Technology delivers secure and reliable signal control across its range of UHF SATCOM management systems. Designed and manufactured in Australia, these units ensure stable power distribution, signal routing and protection where communication integrity is critical.

The Signal Management range includes hazard switches, injector units, transceiver adaptors, and GPS signal panels, each built to maintain operational safety and precision in complex SATCOM environments.

  • RF Radiation Hazard Switch – RHS Series

    The RHS Series provides safe isolation of transmit paths from antenna systems and associated amplifiers. Each model includes mechanical switching to isolate and terminate the transmit path into a dummy load when required.

    An RF sampling port allows transmit signal monitoring, and a status port enables remote switch-state feedback. Available in single (RHS-21), double (RHS-22) and triple (RHS-23) configurations, these switches form an essential safety control in transmission systems where personnel and equipment protection is paramount.
  • DC Injector Unit – DCID Series

    The DCID-21 and DCID-22 units supply reliable DC power to antenna-mounted components such as low-noise amplifiers (LNAs).

    • DCID-21 provides up to 5 A of DC power on a single RF receive path.
    • DCID-22 supports two independent receive paths, each supplying up to 5 A of DC power.

    Optional redundant power supplies maintain continuous operation during a failure and SNMP monitoring supports remote supervision.

  • Transceiver Adaptor – TXA Series

    The TXA Series enables single-port transceivers to operate in full-duplex systems by separating the terminal into independent transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) paths. Available in single-channel (TXA-01) and dual-channel (TXA-02) models, these passive adaptors allow flexible integration within UHF SATCOM networks.
  • GPS Signal Distribution Panel – GPS Series

    Blacktree’s GPS signal panels manage and distribute timing and positioning references within critical communication systems.

    • DCIGPS-01 includes a six-way splitter and DC injector to power an active GPS antenna.
    • GPS-02 provides Pulse Per Second (PPS) signal distribution from a master clock, offering eight 50-Ohm outputs and two RS232 outputs for server connections.
