Blacktree provides a range of antenna pedestals designed to support accurate positioning and operational control within UHF SATCOM installations. The pedestal range includes models for manual alignment as well as remote adjustment, allowing antennas to be configured and directed to meet specific system requirements.

  • Manually Targeted Antenna Pedestal – PED-03 Series

    The PED-03-1 and PED-03-2 are manually targeted antenna pedestals designed for use with Blacktree UHF SATCOM helical antennas, including SRR-01 and SRR-02 models.

    • PED-03-1 supports a single antenna.
    • PED-03-2 supports dual antennas configured in a phased array for additional gain.

    Built for simplicity and reliability, both models provide robust manual alignment suited to fixed installations where mechanical durability and ease of operation are key.
  • Remote Controlled Antenna Pedestal – PED-04

    The PED-04 provides 360 degrees of azimuth control and 90 degrees of elevation adjustment. It supports GEO, MEO and LEO operations and can be operated remotely using the Antenna Control Panel.
  • Remote Controlled Antenna Pedestal – PED-06

    PED-06 is an equatorial mount pedestal designed with a single rotational axis aligned to the Earth’s polar axis. It is intended for use with SRR-02-1, SRR-02-2 and other compatible antennas. Elevation is set during installation using a Trapezoidal Screw Assembly. Automated tracking is controlled through the Celestial Polar Axis Motor and PCU.
  • Antenna Control Panel – ACP-03

    The ACP-03 is the on-site operator control unit for managing Blacktree’s remote-controlled pedestals. It includes a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, power supply, system monitoring board, internal cabling and I/O connectors. The ACP connects to the Antenna Drive Unit through a serial link.

    The touchscreen interface provides control and feedback on pedestal positioning and drive system status. Discrete control inputs can be configured for manual operation or for selecting preset targets. Alarm outputs indicate both non-urgent and urgent conditions.
