External Systems
Blacktree offers a selection of external systems designed for operation across the UHF SATCOM band from 240 to 320 MHz.
This includes helical antennas and diplexer equipment suited to varied installation environments.

Helical Antenna – SRR-01
The SRR-01 is a right-hand circularly polarised helical antenna with 14 dBi gain. It can be mounted individually or in a dual phased array configuration to increase overall system gain. The design supports multi-carrier full duplex RF operation.

Helical Antenna – SRR-02
The SRR-02 is available in low-gain (1.75 m) and standard (3 m) options for medium-duty applications. Covering the 240 to 320 MHz band, it provides enduring performance with reduced mass for lighter installations.
- SRR-02-01: 11-turn helix, 13 dBi gain.
- SRR-02-02: 6-turn helix, 10 dBi gain.
Both models can operate in phased array configurations and may be mounted on fixed bases or Blacktree pedestals (PED-03, PED-04, PED-06) to suit operational requirements. When paired with the DSE-01 Diplexer Enclosure System, the SRR-02 supports simplex or single-carrier, full-duplex RF operation.

Diplexer System – DSE-01
The DSE-01 incorporates band-pass filters for the transmit and receive paths and includes a receive-path low-noise amplifier. The unit is housed in a stainless steel enclosure mounted directly on the antenna pedestal.
